About Kathy Shimpock
 

 

Kathy Shimpock  has 30 years experience as a lawyer, researcher and administrator.  The author of two books and over 40 articles, Kathy has had numerous national speaking engagements.  She also provides workshops to groups, churches and retreat centers on spiritual topics and the use of various tools to assist in psychological and spiritual growth.  She has received a BA in studio art and psychology, and a JD, MBA, and MLL degrees.

Kathy is an artist, a certified clinical hypnotherapist (with the American Board of Hypnotherapy, American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists), a spiritual guidance mentor, and a 6th generation Usui Reiki Master Teacher. She is also an approved facilitator for SoulCollage®, a creative process for personal and spiritual growth and development, based on the work of Seena Frost. Along with her life long pursuit of art, she has a deep interest in transpersonal studies including self-actualization, mythology and Jungian psychology.  Her artistic pursuits focus on the creation of custom mandalas and myths, and on spiritual art.

Kathy is a founder of the Patchwork Lives Giving Circle, a non-profit that provides assistance to women and children living in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

My Etsy store will sell primarily positive or inspirational objects and images.  Currently the site contains affirmation mirrors but other projects are in the works, including prayer boxes and prints.
